New Frame for the Annual Exhibition

 

Still working on the preparations for this exhibition. This is a new frame type made a few weeks ago. Tried today what it looks like under a spot light. I fitted the spot light with a home made narrow cap, to get a narrower beam of light... (more info on the exhibition, see www.josvanriswick.com)

Still life with Gourd

Small still life for the exhibition in december. I liked the way the stem kind of curled around the thin part of the gourd. Didn't require any more compositional elements. Hope to paint a couple more, but making the frames first...
