A Painting A Day Postcard from Holland is a project, in which I intend to paint a small ('postcard-size') oil painting each day, and post it to this blog. I will depict everyday objects, local fruits and dutch landscapes. In this way I hope to give visitors a day-to-day impression of my life as an artist in Holland.

In our train ride through the mist (see yesterday's post), we passed these yellow fields. Don't know what the plants are called but I think they are used for making oil and bio-petrol. In the mist the yellow fields looked like very bright luminous beams of light...
