A Painting A Day Postcard from Holland is a project, in which I intend to paint a small ('postcard-size') oil painting each day, and post it to this blog. I will depict everyday objects, local fruits and dutch landscapes. In this way I hope to give visitors a day-to-day impression of my life as an artist in Holland.

Finally painting again. Want to paint a number of figures in 2012. This one didn't quite turn out as I'd like yet, so I'll call it a study. See also the youtube movie.

Pretty much the last new painting for the upcoming exhibition in Persingen (3 and 4 December 2011). Maybe want to finish one larger figure painting I started some time ago, and make a lot of frames...

This week the turkish grocery store in the Houtstraat (Nijmegen, Holland) offered clementines with green leafs still on them. The green contrasts nicely with the bright orange of the clementine skin...
