A Painting A Day Postcard from Holland is a project, in which I intend to paint a small ('postcard-size') oil painting each day, and post it to this blog. I will depict everyday objects, local fruits and dutch landscapes. In this way I hope to give visitors a day-to-day impression of my life as an artist in Holland.
Still working on a number of commissioned paintings. Finally making significant progress with the strawberry painting. But I think this one has been the most difficult yet (have been painting strawberries for 3(?) months now...)

I'm working on a few commissions, so not many daily postcard paintings at the moment. Today's image is the first layer of a painting featuring 2 old children's shoes. I'll be working on this painting another week. Then I hope to post some more small paintings again. Watch this painting (the first layer, that is) being painted on youtube...

Back again after having seen a lot of strawberries.. No strawberry today though! (No!) This little plum will be presented at my 'open atelier weekend', on october 3rd-4th. Entrance is free, and I'll give a live painting demo...
