Today I participated in 'Portret van Nijmegen', a one-day painting event in which painters make a plein air painting in the city of Nijmegen (holland). I decided to paint near cinema Lux and the public library. The trashcan on the orange wall of the library, with the library window on the right, seemed a nice subject. A nice detail is the soda pop can on the floor. With thanx to Diederik Grootjans and Rosalie Thomassen for organizing PvN, and to Rene for showing how to use a ruler for painting straigh lines...

Trashcan, 12.5x18 cm, oil on masonite.

Mooi secuur werk, ik zag 'm al liggen bij portret van Nijmegen. Zie dat je ook alweer nieuwe onderwerpen van Nijmegen heb geschilderd.
Groetjes Patrick..
