Ooi polder and windmills

Went oudside again yesterday afternoon, to make a quick landscape sketch. I decided to paint the view from the Belvedere restaurant in Nijmegen. The weather was very clear, so I could see the church of Persingen (center of the image) and even a few german windmills (for making electricity). On such a small painting however, these could only be represented as a series of white dots on the horizon...

Ooi polder and windmills, 18x11 cm, oil on masonite.

You can Buy this painting now.

Lovely, Jos. I lived a few blocks from this view many years ago. You've captured the place and atmosphere so well!
