Still life with tea box

Here I am again. Just finished a commissioned painting, so time for some smaller works again. Tried out a more fluent touch today similar to Singer-Sargent, resulting in this atmospheric still life painting...

Still life with tea box, 27x30 cm.

Mooi werkje Jos, én groot!

I like the new ground you painting on, the strokes remain much more pronounced but on the other hand I don't know how much you tempered on them normally. Larry Seiler has an nice item on that counting his strokes for one and three strokes a color-mix for an other. Both making you much more aware of the strokes you make and there for much more conscience about those strokes. anyhow I like the new underground, although I don't like all those experimenting, ... you don't need that anymore.
